Gas Fire Installations

Is your fire looking old and could do with upgrading?

A fireplace is a focal point in any room and as such it is essential that when you are considering a new fireplace that you get the very best advice and quality workmanship.

The day before your installation is due to be carried out we will contact you to check that you have all the products on site and confirm arrival times.

Your installation will be carried out by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.

We will survey the installation in advance of the new fire being fitted to make sure your chimney meets regulations and is suitable for the fire you have picked.

The installation will normally be completed in one day although sometimes a second day will be required. You will be advised of this when your survey is carried out. You will also have been advised of any furniture you are required to move and if you need to roll your carpet back from the fireplace.

I will cover your room with dust sheets to protect your furnishings. Removing an old fireplace can be dusty but we will endeavour to keep any dust and disturbance to a minimum. I will require access to any upstairs rooms that the flue passes through and also access to your loft space to carry out essential safety checks.

On completion of your installation you will be issued with any relevant gas safety certificates as well as documentation required by the building regs and of course your receipt.

Finally, I will run you through the operation of your new fire and make sure that you are totally satisfied with your fireplace before cleaning your room to the condition I found it.
